Meet Melanie - Dental Hygienist
As Langdon Dentals Registered Dental Hygienist, Melanie does more than fuss over flossing. With almost 25 years of experience in the field of dentistry she has a passion for making every dental hygiene visit tailored for each unique individual and their health/dental needs. Born and predominantly raised in Calgary, Melanie completed her education in dental assisting in Vancouver and although she enjoyed this aspect of dentistry for many years, she decided to further her education to be able to provide one on one care and in 2011 moved to Toronto to fulfill becoming a dental hygienist. Where there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved and her motto is to work as a team not only with work mates but also with patients. Melanie feels privileged to have found this at Langdon Dental and to serve the Langdon community. Melanie is a bona fide foody when it comes to her mother’s Caribbean cuisine and in her spare time enjoys spending time with family, and kicking back while delighting in a little binge from time to time. She looks forward to caring for you and your loved ones.
Meet Heather - Treatment Coordinator
I am a dental administrator and have been in the dental field for over 10 years. My mother was an RDA so I grew up spending more time than most people prefer to, at the dental office. I love getting to know our patients and seeing new faces. I have my little family here in Langdon, my husband, son and our 2 cats. We’ve been here for about 5 years and love it. Such a great community. In my free time, I love cruising in my Shelby or being curled up with a good book.
Meet Ashala - Treatment Coordinator
Hi there! My name is Ashala and I’m a Treatment Coordinator here at Langdon Dental. I was born and raised in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta and spent the last few years living in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Ever since I was young I wanted a career where I could feel like I was making a difference for someone, how lucky am I that I found just that! In Colorado, I received my certification in Dental Assisting and started my dental career off as an Orthodontic Assistant. Upon returning back to Alberta I have continued my career in dental as a Treatment Coordinator. This means I get to help patients with all questions regarding treatment plans, insurance coverage and anything else they may need to achieve a smile they can be proud of! In my spare time, you can find me either in the mountains or with my beautiful family and friends. Have I mentioned I love cows almost as much as I love teeth?
